PVC composite faux stone wall panel is popular for interior decorating. It’s a new type of composite material that’s made by melting PVC resin with high-quality stone powder and adding auxiliaries at high temperatures and then extruding it with PVC film. PVC composite faux stone wall panel is similar to natural marble and granite in appearance and features. As well as being flexible, it’s also anti-wear and bend-resistant. Due to their calcium content and high plasticisation performance, composite faux stone wall panels require special screw and barrel designs and the highest level of anti-wear solutions.

1. PVC composite faux stone wall panels have a high calcium powder fill ratio and poor material flow. The special conical twin screw has low shear, high mixing, and high conveying. It helps the faux stone wall panels look better by fully plasticizing and melting at a low temperature.
2. Stable extrusion and better feeding. This screw is designed with extended feed and stop sections based on flow dynamics to make it easier for the extruder to feed and extrude thick PVC composite faux stone wall panel, and it can also be laminated in-line for continuous production.
3. Optimized screw and barrel design reduces production costs and accommodates varying processes and formulations of faux stone wall panels.
4. The screws and barrel are made of high quality alloy steel 38CrMoAlA as the base material, which is tempered and nitrided. They’re all CNC milled on large scale high precision machines. Each set of screws and barrels has a high degree of consistency in extrusion. A smooth surface and no gaps prevent material from accumulating on the screw and barrel.
5. The top surfaces of the screw flights, which are prone to wear, get a bimetallic alloy process and ceramic tungsten coating to extend their life. The barrel is fitted with a replaceable SKD sleeve fitted barrel. SKD sleeves are vacuum hardened and then secondary nitrided for extra wear resistance. You can replace the SKD sleeve with a new barrel assembly when it wears out.
